These sweet little girls are the daughters of some friends of ours, whom we hadn’t see for quite awhile. So we were thrilled when mom, Megan, asked us to do a session as a Father’s Day present for her husband. And we are all so proud of ourselves for keeping it a secret for as long as we have!! The girls were so precious, with their beautiful red hair and adorable pettiskirts. We had so much fun with them, asking them to spin and twirl, and walk hand in hand. They were the cutest little models!

What a special time for this family! We felt so honored to be invited to take portraits of Eddie before his first communion. He did such a great job, and was wonderful to work with! But like all little boys, he was more than happy to have a few minutes of downtime to play ball after we finished up with the posed shots. And he wasn’t too happy with us when we secretly asked his younger sister to give him a kiss. Haha!!

We were so excited when Tera Blake, from Fox News Rising, first approached us about doing a portrait session. Along with a few professional head shots she was looking for some fun, personal photos to use on her social networking sites. We decided to play up her position as Meteorologist by using props like an umbrella and a pair of rain boots in some of the photos. She also brought along her husband Nic so we made sure to get some beautiful shots of the two of them, as well. Thanks for a great session, Tera! We look forward to working together again someday!

This mama-to-be was a rockstar during this photo session! At 35 weeks pregnant, she was climbing into window frames and practically laying upside down for some of the shots. She didn’t want the typical maternity pictures and we were more than happy to work with her to create the portraits that represented her true style. And we loved being able to incorporate her cravings for green apples into one shot and the name they have chosen for their son in another. Congratulations Miranda! We can’t wait to work with you again soon for the newborn shoot.
