We had such a great time at this shoot!! Courtney looked absolutely stunning and the rustic back drop was just perfect. We have been so excited to share these images, and now that the happy couple has been pronounced husband and wife, the dress is no longer a secret! It was such a pleasure working with her during this session. She braved the cobwebs, the nasty bugs, and walking around in high heels. And she laughed her way through the “crank it…and bump it” lesson of posing!! And it was so fun to see her groom admiring these photos for the first time, as she had framed several of them and placed them all throughout the reception. He really seemed to love them all!

We were so excited that Chris and Lauren invited us back for Sophie’s six month shoot. It was so fun to see how much she has grown since we did her newborn session! We met at the home of Chris’ parents (which is absolutely beautiful, by the way!!) and although it was hot enough that most of us adults were literally melting, Sophie was such a trooper!! She smiled adorned in a beautiful tutu, giggled from inside a woven basket, studied bubbles blowing in the wind, and belly laughed at her grandpa’s pretend coughs. She really is such a joy to be around!

What an awesome couple!! We especially loved it when they both busted out a pair of Converse sneakers! And they didn’t even look at us like we were crazy when we suggested they pose beside a rack of tires! They were after the type of photographs we really love to capture. Edgy, artsy, unique, creative, and fun!! Apparently the citizens of Monroe also loved it, as many people slowed down to watch or honked and waved as they drove by our set. Haha! How great is that?? The wedding is just a week and a half away and we couldn’t be more excited to be a part of it. Thanks Todd and Miranda for a great shoot! It was a pleasure spending the afternoon with you.
